Here in our house, we love a good summer salad. Growing up, my mom always had different kind of salads on the dinner table, and our favourites were all the ones with fruit on them. Since my husband thinks fruit on salad is the best thing since sliced bread, it’s been a summer tradition we’ve started.
As you might already know, the AllyBeth team is currently in the middle of a move (hooray) and by team, I basically mean me (since my husband is currently down for the count after having knee surgery last week) (double hooray).
As I’m sure you’ve heard – Canada is celebrating it’s 150th Birthday next week – and we’re joining in the festivities by throwing a little Canada Day Party! I mean, what is more Canadian than strawberry and timbit kabobs. Such a great idea (and sooooooo delicious)!
